Overachiever 50g Facial Exfoliant

Overachiever is an ultra-concentrated, waterless exfoliant/masque formula that is packed with active ingredients and features the potent wildcrafted adaptogens chaga, golden chanterelle, and cultivated reishi mushrooms, along with extracts of licorice root and aloe vera to support your skin’s natural ability to deal with stress.

Rhassoul clay and wild chaga blend perfectly with skin brightening L-ascorbic acid, weighing in at 10% of this dry formula. Macerated wild lavender and chamomile flowers, paired with the incredible hydrating properties of aloe vera, coconut milk powder and concentrated antioxidants to help soften and even skin tone to rejuvenate skin’s luminosity. 

Ingredients

L-ASCORBIC ACID - VITAMIN C
A potent antioxidant, dramatic skin brightener, it helps to fade discolorations. It improves the appearance of textured skin, pigmentation, acne, and firmness. Because it begins to oxidize almost immediately after activation with water, so we use it only in powdered form and package it in protective violet glass to maintain it’s integrity until you mix it for each use.

CHANTERELLE MUSHROOM
Golden chanterelle mushrooms are also some of the best natural sources for vitamin B3 and are a real Newfoundland treasure! They contain high levels of vitamin B3 or niacinamide – a bioactive compound that is amazingly effective in reducing skin redness, inflammation, irritation.

REISHI MUSHROOM
Reishi is an adaptogen that contains beta-glucans to attract  water from the environment to your skin. This creates the perfect groundwork for the synthesis of ceramides, which are the building blocks in the protective layer of your skin that keeps environmental aggressors at bay. The bioactive components of reishi mushroom include polysaccharides, triterpenes and peptides.

COENZYME Q10
A fat-soluble vitamin-like substance present in our cells. It is a very powerful antioxidant and free radical scavenger.

MARSHMALLOW ROOT
Forms a protective gel over skin that moisturizes and soothes inflammatory skin irritations. 

SEA BUCKTHORN
This beautiful deep orange oil is rich in alpha linoleic and linoleic acids and is naturally loaded with vitamin E.

ALOE VERA 
Aloe vera is an adaptogen that restores balance, provides protective moisture and a calming sensation to skin. 

COCONUT MILK
Packed with vitamins C, E, B1, B3, B5, and B6, iron, selenium, sodium, calcium, magnesium and phosphorus. Coconut milk contains around 50% lauric acid, a medium chain fatty acid that demonstrates strong antibacterial properties to fight acne causing bacteria.

FULL INGREDIENTS
Lilite kaolin, kaolin, *adansonia digitata fruit pulp, bentonite, L-ascorbic acid, *dehydrated coconut milk, *lavandula angustifolia flower extract, *matricaria recutita, allantoin, panthenol, *bambusa vulgaris extract, *vanilla planifolia fruit, *aloe barbadensis leaf extract, . *Organically grown or wildcrafted. 

• Shelf Life: Shelf Life: 18 months unopened / 6 months after opening

• Use: Activate 1 teaspoon with ½ teaspoon of hydrosol or water and stir until a soft mousse forms. Very gently, massage into face and neck, avoiding eye area, and rinse. Alternatively, allow to dry as a masque. Pat dry and follow with serum and moisturizer. If desired, add several drops oil or serum.
