  4. Polishing (Optional): For an extra shine, you can use aluminum polish to restore the luster of your furniture. Apply the polish according to the product instructions.

Cleaning Synthetic Weave/Rattan/Wicker Furniture

Rattan and wicker furniture add a touch of natural elegance to your outdoor space. To clean these materials without causing damage, follow these steps:

  1. Dust and Debris Removal: Use a soft brush or vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to remove any loose dirt or debris from the crevices.

  2. Soapy Water Solution: Use our Outdoor Multi-Surface Cleaner or mix a small amount of mild detergent or dish soap with water. Dip a soft cloth or sponge into the solution and gently wipe down the rattan or wicker surfaces.

  3. Rinse and Dry: Rinse the furniture with a damp cloth to remove soap residue. Allow the furniture to air dry completely.

  4. Avoid Excess Moisture: Rattan and wicker are susceptible to mold and mildew. Avoid leaving them in damp or humid conditions, and store them indoors during extended periods of rain.

Cleaning Polymer/Plastic/Sling Furniture

  3. Rinse and Dry: Rinse the furniture with clean water to remove soap residue. Wipe it dry with a clean, dry cloth.

  4. Stain Removal (if needed): For stubborn stains, a mixture of baking soda and water can be applied. Allow it to sit for a few minutes before scrubbing and rinsing.

**NEVER** use a high pressure power washer to clean your polymer furniture.

Cleaning Upholstered Furniture

Upholstered patio furniture offers comfort and style but requires special care. Follow these steps to clean upholstered pieces:

Precautions: Do not remove casings from Hauser made cushions or machine wash/dry your casing. Our cushions are made from a quick-dry, high-density foam that will fully dry when left outside in dry conditions.

1. Pat cushions to remove excess dust: Do NOT remove the casing from the cushions.

2. Hose down entire cushion using clean water source: Use our Fabric Cleaner or a mild soap solution of dish soap and warm water to lightly scrub any stains and hose down again with fresh water. Use a very soft bristle brush to lightly scrub any stains. Follow up with our Fabric Protector to help propel dirt, water and moisture.

3. Stand cushions up on sides & allow to air dry: we recommend doing this on a warm sunny day

For stubborn stains we recommend using our Fabric Cleaner and Fabric Protector solutions. During cleaning some water-resistance will be lost use our Fabric Protector to reapply this repellent coating. Follow the step-by-step cleaning instructions indicated on the bottle.
