More From This Collection: Hauser Teak
The well-known LUTYENS bench, which graces England's most famous gardens, originated from famed architect Sir Edwin Lutyens. Our LUTYENS bench is the quintessential version, made with a comfortable curved seat, heirloom-quality construction and romantic, flowing lines. Features and Benefits: Kingsley Bate uses raw grade A teak giving you the option to either let the piece naturally turn grey over time with exposure to the elements or you can seal/stain it a colour of your choosing. Grade A teak is dense with a high resin content that allows it to withstand extreme temperature changes without cracking. Care: If teak is being left to naturally patina (turn grey) it can be left out year round without a protective cover. Teak that has been sealed/stained should be placed in dry storage to avoid unnecessary maintenance of the applied finish. It is best not to use furniture covers on teak.
